Emergency Preparedness

Policy: It is the policy of the facility that detailed plans and procedures are developed and maintained to meet all potential emergencies and disasters, assuring prompt action is taken to protect the lives of residents, staff, and visitors as well as property in the event of a man-made or natural disaster, for which all employees have been trained and practiced regularly.

Purpose:

  1. To establish national emergency preparedness requirements to ensure adequate planning for both natural and man-made disasters, and coordination with federal, state, tribal, regional, and local emergency preparedness systems.
  2. To ensure the safety and well-being of the residents, visitors, and staff during the event of a disaster requiring the implementation of our plan.
